I hope to post some long awaited photos, we'll see if Stuart's computer cooperates.

It is almost two weeks since Janet and Chance left. Now we are halfway through Gugu and Shushu's visit...AND we are sick. Whether this is sick again or still sick we're not sure. This seems to be a bug that just hangs around and relapses.

Our last few weeks have been filled with cake making, sewing, rellies visiting and yet more cake making. I think Stuart will be very happy if I don't make another cake for at least a year.
You see I have made the Gluten Free layer to my friends wedding cake, which needed to be three inches tall. I challenge you to bake an 8 in by 3in  Gluten free cake. First it was too moist, then too crumbly, too rich or sunk in the middle, or never cooked through.
To be on the safe side we settled for two shorter cakes that will be stuck together with genache (the computer says this isn't a word but it is, really!). I made them on Wednesday (German Chocolate). Samantha and I delivered them on Thursday to the real baker who is going to do the fondant icing.

The wedding is tomorrow!!

Hopefully it won't take me two weeks to post pictures of the wedding.

We really miss Aunt Janet and Uncle Chance and talk about their visit all the time.

At King's Park Treetop Walk

We loved every of their visit. They made us laugh and every day had a special memory. Whether doing water colours, reading stories, going to the park, it was a week to remember.
