Samantha's Creations

For being so cooperative and sticking so well to her diet the first six weeks we bought Samantha her first set of Lego's. I gave in and got the pink girly ones, mostly because it had a horse with a curie comb. Here is what she built.
She followed the instructions from the booklet and needed surprisingly little help.
Usually if I asked her prompting questions she could figure out what was wrong.
The horse cart is only roughly based on the instructions.
She played with them for at least 3 hours the first day.

Here is a drawing of paradise. The blue snake thing is a river.
I should post a pre-diet drawing so people can compare. She had taken to doing nothing but complicated squiggles that looked like massive balls of tangled string. Now she is drawing paradaise!

Samantha is doing really well with her reading. Here she is reading "The Big Book of Billie" It is a collection of easy-reader chapter books. I don't know how much she actually read but she sure looked cute curled up with such a big book.

  2. Rachel got a set of girlie legos too, we just added them to the bin of Javan's duplo legos when he moved onto the smaller ones. Love all her creations and seeing her curled up with a book.
