Meat Pie!
Who would have thought my first successful meat pie would be gluten free, dairy free and failsafe? It needed a bit more salt and the bottom crust was a bit soggy but it held together, wasn't too watery, did not spill all over the oven and look how beautiful it was.
Sweat Pants?

Some mistakes are just too funny not to share. This item of clothing that appears to be an upside down pair of shorts is actually meant to be sweat pants.

Okay so I was sewing along following the instructions on the pattern taking one seam at a time and look what happened?
The part that looks like legs is suppose to be the waist and what looks like an incredibly long crotch is supposed to be the legs. When I sewed the last side seam and took it away from the machine I about died laughing.
So I have unpicked the heavy duty stitching but haven't sat down to sew them correctly. Will let you all know how they turned out

ReplyDeleteYour pie is a beauty for sure and looks like it will be delicious.As for the shorts/sweatpants/ whatever, I will have to think about that for a while. Please give us a pic of the finished product as my imagination is letting me down.
ReplyDeleteSo ... the shorts/sweatpants could be a shorts/shirt combo ... looks like they'd go right up past your chest! Sorry you didn't notice it till you were all done. :)
