A Day Out at Whiteman Park

Whiteman Park is a very large public park and cultural heritage site a 5-10 minute drive from our house. This week they had on a free event called World's Largest Play Group. Apparently it is held once a year right across Australia. Samantha and I picked up our friend Caleb and his Ah Ma (grandma in dialect) and spent a very fun morning wondering around all the free activities. Then we ate our picnic before heading home.

Already for a fun day in the sun.

Looking cute as!

Ohhh play dough and sticks who could asked for more?
Caleb is fearless and went chasing after all the animals in the petting zoo and tried out both bouncy castles while Samantha watched. Samantha is always cautious and mostly watched Caleb and the other kids. Their favourite thing was a booth about family day care, which had a water play table and and play dough. The play dough was accessorized with sticks, gumnuts and shells. All up it was a very fun day.

Samantha told me this week that Caleb is her best friend now that he has turned three. They really do get on very well together.
