Grown Up Benefits

This diet is not by any means all about Samantha.
It is just as much about me because while sensitivity varies throughout your life people do not really out grow food intolerance's but the symptoms morph. As I was a hyper active child, with unexpected learning difficulties who turned into an adult with depression, anxiety and multiple health issues of no specific origin, I fit the mold of food intolerance like it was made for me.
This is my own copy of the Failsafe Cookbook the source of the lovely bread.
And I forgot to include Friendly Food before, it is from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital

The first week was tough my headaches continued, though not as bad as the weeks before the diet, my feet were killing me, my mind wouldn't stop racing and my mouth wouldn't stop talking. The 2nd week was much better. I felt calmer. No headache for 4 days. No racing mind. I could sit quietly and think clearly. Finally on Friday my feet stopped aching.

Now we are on to week three and I am feeling good. I had a cup of decaf tea on Sunday and accidentally had raw sugar at a friends on Monday and felt really low yesterday (Wednesday) It may have been a coincidence but we'll see if I pass my salicylate challenge.

At the moment I am just really pleased  about not having headaches and my feet not hurting.

Samantha and I had a picnic at Woodlake, a local park behind the toy library.

We come here to pretend we are really out bush. It is by far the prettiest
and best maintained park in Ellenbrook.

In summary I think the diet is working for both me and Samantha. Stuart however is still itchy. I guess you can't win them all.
